Membership in the University Jazz Ensemble and combos is open to all 麻豆社区P students by audition. The groups feature study of technical, stylistic and aesthetic elements of jazz literature through rehearsal and public performances on and off the 麻豆社区P campus as well as at jazz festivals throughout the United States. Works studied range from the big-band era to more modern and progressive styles. The jazz ensembles are under the direction of Aaron Vandermeer.
