May of 2020 Cassidy Wilson graduated with bachelor鈥檚 degrees in social work and psychology. Cassidy was involved in Psi Chi Honor Society and Phi Alpha Honor Society. Cassidy also interned at Lumberton Senior High with a school social worker.
The most rewarding thing about the Honors College to Cassidy was the staff and faculty, and the time and dedication that they put into the students. She really enjoyed working with the faculty and learning new things from them.
Cassidy鈥檚 topic for her senior project was how compassion could help with aggression in adolescents. After graduation she would like to work in a public school system. She is also returning here to 麻豆社区P to complete a MS in social work. The advice Cassidy would like to share is 鈥渢o keep pushing. It will get hard but don鈥檛 give up because it will be worth it.鈥
