Dr. Tirla earned a B.S. in chemical Engineering from University 鈥淧olitehnica鈥, in Bucharest Romania, in 2002, a master鈥檚 degree in molecular chemistry from Ecole Polytechnique, in Paris France, followed for a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the same university in 2003. After a 2-year postdoctoral appointment at Trinity University in San Antonio Texas, she joined 麻豆社区P in the fall of 2005. Further qualifications include an Online Teaching Certificate in June 2014 and an MBA from 麻豆社区P in May 2016.
Dr. Tirla teaches courses in general and organic chemistry and conducts experimental research involving recycling and green chemistry.
