Dr. Rajiv Dahiya is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the Thomas College of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Previously, he was at the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, NY, as a Visiting (Spl.) Assistant Professor - Info. Systems & Business Analytics. He completed his doctoral degree in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University with a focus on Management & Information Systems. His research areas were Business Analytics and Quantitative Methods. He has presented his research at several national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
Earlier, Dr. Dahiya did his master's in computer science at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He has worked in industry for over ten years with several leading technology companies as an Analyst on database and analytics projects. Dr. Dahiya is a member of several leading academic and professional associations, including the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) and the INFORMS Analytics Society.
