DoIT is excited to announce desktop management tools that will allow users to install pre-approved software on both Apple and Windows machines. 

Jamf Pro Self Service

Mac Users

All Âé¶¹ÉçÇøP Macs have the Self Service application available for use. The Self Service app provides customized content for Âé¶¹ÉçÇøP machines, giving users access to resources, content and trusted apps with just the click of a button. This tool gives users the flexibility of choosing and installing desired software at their convenience without needing to submit a request to the Âé¶¹ÉçÇøP DoIT Help Desk.

Software Center and Company Portal

Windows Users

All Âé¶¹ÉçÇøP Windows machines have the Software Center and the Company Portal tools available for use. Software Center and Company Portal are Microsoft tools that provide customized content for Âé¶¹ÉçÇøP machines, giving users the flexibility of choosing and installing desired software, to include software updates and Operating Systems, at their convenience without needing to submit a request to the Âé¶¹ÉçÇøP DoIT Help Desk.

 

To request that additional software be added to either of these tools, please submit an ITSM Service Portal request.
